Yes, it is confirmed that there is a new Suicide Squad game in development by Rocksteady Studios after a tweet they put out last night.
Rocksteady tweeted out a photo with the caption “Target Locked,” and a picture of Superman. Right on Superman’s head is a crosshair that spells out the words “Suicide Squad.”

Rocksteady Studios is the developer behind the critically acclaimed Batman: Arkham series. It was suggested that Rocksteady was denied the opportunity to develop a Superman Game, but we can now see that they have continued to develop DC game titles with Suicide Squad.
With the success that Harley Quinn is having at the moment with movies and TV shows, this will be a prime opportunity for Rocksteady to capitalize on the success.
When Will The Suicide Squad Game Come Out?
Though we don’t have an official release yet on when the Suicide Squad game will come out, we can assume that it will be sometime in the near future. Rocksteady will host an event on August 22nd and fans can expect to get more details about this new game.
