Writing for Gritty Gamer comes with its perks (many of which will be explained on this page), but the main perk is the ability to voice your opinion about video games and anime on a growing media platform.
Don’t worry if you’re not the best writer or haven’t had any articles published on a website. We will help you hone your voice and craft the best articles possible. As long as you have basic knowledge of sentence structure and grammar we can help you write articles that cater to our audience.
So what are these perks I mentioned before? Let’s get into it!
Build A Portfolio
As long as the articles you write follow our guidelines and aren’t plagiarized in any way, you will get your articles published. Here at Gritty Gamer, we believe everyone should be able to voice their opinion, whether we agree or not. Just keep it PG-13, please.
Having a diverse community of writers helps keep the flow of dynamic content consistent, which allows the readers to get continued entertainment from our platform.
What does this mean for you as a writer? It means you’ll be able to come up with article ideas easily. Hate the way a gun shoots on Call of Duty? Write about it. Do you think Ubisoft is running out of ideas for Assassin’s Creed? Write about it. Want to rank the 10 strongest characters of your favorite anime? Write about it!
The possibilities are endless.
We will market your Articles for you
Sharing your articles on social media with your followers is a great way to show everyone what you wrote, but there are plenty of other ways to get your articles in front of the right audience.
If you write an article for Gritty Gamer and we deem it shareable we will put our marketing engine behind it and get more eyes on your work. This will help you build a name in the industry and allow you to branch out to other platforms if you would like.
Will I get paid?
We don’t pay for articles (yet) but there is a way you can monetize your articles. Have you heard of affiliate marketing?
Affiliate marketing allows you to make money by referring people to a specific website/ product. So you would be able to sign up for an affiliate that is on brand with Gritty Gamer and post links to their products within your articles.
Of course, all links will need to be approved by Gritty Gamer admins but after approval, you would be able to make money from your articles. The more interesting your article is, the more views you’ll get, and the more views you get the more money you could make from your links.
