Dave The Diver Night Dive: A Guide To Exploring The Beautiful Depths At Night

Dave the Diver is an indie game that follows a diver with a passion for exploring an underwater utopia called ‘The Blue Depths.” As Dave embarks on his journey, he meets amazing animals, and hilarious characters, and learns a slew of new skills along the way.

As Dave grows as a person and as a diver, he comes to a point where he can begin exploring the blue depths at night, which is an entirely different experience for both Dave and the fish he seeks. Dave the Diver night dive will be a term that you become familiar with as you progress through the game, as it will be an essential part of Dave’s progress throughout the story.

At the start of Dave the Diver there are only two sessions in a day where you can fish – Morning and afternoon. There is no night fishing but fortunately, you can unlock night fishing afterward, and with this, you can fish thrice a day. But Night Dive will impact the opening hours of the restaurant. In this guide, we will cover everything about Night Dive so you can prepare well. After getting into this guide, you’ll be one step closer to exploring all the elements that make Dave the prolific diver he is.

Dave The Diver: How to Unlock Night Fishing

Dave The Diver Night Dive: A Guide To Exploring The Beautiful Depths At Night 2

In Chapter Two, Night diving and fishing get automatically unlocked after the completion of the Sea People Language Translator mission. Otto who wants Moray Eel Curry on a mission ‘A Noisy Customer’ will come to your shop, which will prompt him to tell you to dive in the nighttime and go fishing using the headlamp that you got earlier and fetch the things he needs from the sea. And you can go only once a night which will consume ⅓ hours of the evening. This means that your time at Bando Sushi will be cut short a bit if you decide to start night fishing before you begin serving customers.

Keep in mind that night fishing will also impact your income since you have a third of your time consumed during your night fishing sessions.

Difference Between Night and Day Fishing

At night there are some species that come out from their hiding like Moray Eels and swim freely but in the daytime, they are hiding in crevices. However, nighttime fishing is relatively not very easy to daytime because the number of aggressive fish increases greatly and they attack you as you dive in.

So before going fishing at night, you must ensure that Dave gets a decent upgrade for harpoon and weapons so he can deal with sea creatures and deliver as much damage which will clear the way. In the moment of attack, the thing that will keep you alive is upgraded Air Tanks, and an improved Cargo Box that will also help you to bear heavy cuts of eel and sharks.

Of course, while night fishing you will begin to unlock new dishes from the creatures you catch which will boost your rankings at Bando Sushi. Be sure to take your time and explore all of the nooks and crannies so you can bring in more money and satisfy the delicate pallets of all your customers.
