During your time in Night City, you’ll get a quest called “Shoot to Thrill.” Wilson, who is one of the very first gun vendors you meet in Act 2 of Cyberpunk 2077 will be the one to initiate the quest when V gets a phone call.
During the call, Wilson asks V if he/she wants to participate in a friendly shooting competition and to meet him at his shooting range. This activity is an opportunity for V to get a new weapon if they get first place in the competition.
A shooting range competition? Ho-ho, wonder what fun prizes are up for grabs. Giant teddy bear? Inflatable sword? Tiny plastic football? Whatever it is, enjoy yourself, ’cause I’m sittin’ this one out. Don’t much like it when people treat weapons like toys.
Shoot To Thrill – Side Job Description
Shoot To Thrill – How To Get First Place
In order to get first place in shoot to thrill, players must beat Rudy by getting 41 or more points for hitting the targets in front of them. Wilson has limited the competition to small arms only, which means you can only use pistols to compete. At one point, Wilson even puts out a competitor for attempting to use a shotgun.
Don’t worry if you don’t have a pistol or ammo because Wilson will provide you with both once you get to your station.
Tips For Winning Shoot To Thrill
Shoot as many targets as you can as many times as you can. This information may seem obvious since you are participating in a shooting competition, but many may not have realized this in the beginning. You are allowed to shoot your competition’s targets as well as your own.
At first glance, it may seem like the targets go away after one successful hit, but this also isn’t the case. When aiming at the target, be sure to unload as many bullets as you can until the target is completely out of sight. Then immediately move on to the next one.
First Place Prize
If you get first place and beat out Rudy, you get a new pistol from Wilson. The pistol isn’t anything special, but it’s worth more than what you would get if you got second place, which is a cash prize of 100 Eurodollars. Plus, you also get 355 Eurodollars for first place, so it’s worth the trouble of going for first place.
