New Destiny 2 Forsaken Trailer Shows Off Projectile Reflecting Armor

Bungie has released a new Destiny 2 Forsaken Trailer and the weapons and gear look awesome.

The Destiny 2 Forsaken trailer features a total of 11 new items that all have their own unique capabilities. Watch the trailer below.

New Weapons

There is a lot to get excited about with this new trailer, as there are plenty of new weapons and gear for fans to get after. The new rocket launcher, the Two-Tailed Fox, puts a spin on the traditional explosive weapon, players can now fire two rockets at once, which could be devastating in both PVP and during boss battles.

Keeping things fresh, the new Destiny 2 Forsaken trailer also showcases  2 new bows with interesting features. The first is the Trinity Ghoul, which creates electrical storms for each precision kill, great for PVE. The other bow, Wish Ender, allows players to see through walls with their bow fully drawn, granting them the opportunity for the perfect shot. This bow also has the added ability to pierce targets, allowing multiple kills with one arrow.

There is also going to be a new sword added to Destiny 2 called the Black Talon. The Black Talon allows players to fire projectiles right from the blade of the sword, granting them added flexibility in battle.

For those who are fans of the pistol and hand cannons, we have Malfeasance and my personal favorite, the Ace of Spades. For every 5 shots with Malfeasance, an explosion is triggered causing significant damage. With the Ace of Spades, players are granted with extra damage if they reload after a kill. There is also a new scout rifle added to the game, Chromatic Fire, which gives elemental explosions for each precision kinetic kill.

Lastly, for the weapons we have One thousand Voices, which is an exotic Trace Rifle. One Thousand Voices uses a beam that explodes on impact after a brief pause, causing devastating damage.

New Armor

Among the myriad of new weapons, we also have two new pieces of armor. First, there’s Antaeus Wards, which reflect projectiles when the player slides, a great counter for the Two-Tailed Fox. The other new armor piece is the  Sixth Coyote, which gives players the added benefit of a second dodge.

A more in-depth overview of all the new DLC will be released soon. Be sure to subscribe to our newsletter so you don’t miss it.
