Are you a fan of a good comedy? There is something in store for you! Are you a fan of action, slice of life, or any genre you can think of? There is something for you on our listicles.
I personally handpicked these spring shows that I’m enjoying and it’s ongoing so we have to wait for some of the show’s episodes every week. But trust me, it’s worth the wait.
So, without further ado let’s begin with our Top 10 must-watch spring season anime listicles!
10. Kaiju No.8
This show is unique in itself. Just don’t get trapped in its animation because it doesn’t look that appealing at first but I can assure you that it can be a game-changer for you.
The show is basically about a city attacked by monsters (a weird one) called Kaiju, that is what they call them in the show. They basically come out from the ground but there are defense forces that are present to safeguard and protect people and even kill those deadly monsters, Kaiju. Yeah, it does sound way more simple, right?
Well, it’s not because our main protagonist is Kaiju himself. Yes, you read that right? I don’t want to spoil the main plot for you because it’s not fun to get spoilers. So, watch it because we don’t want you to regret it later on!
9. Demon Slayer: Hashira Training:
Demon Slayer: Hashira Training arc is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated seasons of this year amongst fans. Fans are waiting for it to come in and if you are the one waiting for it don’t miss out on the first episode that was released on May 12, 2024.
In this season, as expected we are going to see our favorite Hashira’s past, where they are shown to be new recruits and this time we will get a proper introduction to every Hashira that we hardly got to see in other seasons. I’m most excited to watch this season for sure. Are you ready for it?
8. Black Butler: Public School Arc:
Black Butler is an old-school anime that comes back after 10 years. Yes, you read that right! And now it’s back with its new arc release called Black Butler: Public School Arc.
Black Butler was known to be a gem amongst many shows back then and I bet fans are happy that it’s back with a new arc. The show is about a boy named Ciel, a young aristocrat who is bound to a contract with Sebastian, who is again not a normal butler but a demon butler. Yes, a demon in human disguise.
The show is ongoing and it’s already been released on April 13, 2024. And if you haven’t started it? Then go for it!
7. Mission: Yozakura Family:
This one is one of the new anime adaptations that we are going to watch this spring season. It’s a comedy action show about a shy guy, Taiyo Asano. He is a high school boy, who only talks to his childhood friend, Mutsumi Yozakura.
But here is the twist, his friend’s family is renowned for being super spies and her brother is super strict and protective towards his sister, Mutsumi. And now our hero has figured out how he can save her friend from his overprotective brother and family. It sure is going to be fun!
6. Jellyfish Can’t Swim in the Night:
Here comes something wholesome for slice-of-life fans and if you are really into some feel-good shows then this one is just for you! And you can never go wrong with four girls coming together to fulfill their goals right?
The show is about a group of girls forming a band in Shibuya and yes, this place got quite famous thanks to Jujutsu Kaisen if you know, you know! Slowly, they made progress and it’s wonderful to watch them together to form a band that will get love and support from everyone.
5. That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 3:
Here’s another comeback of blockbuster shows. It was the first isekai that had strongly influenced so many isekai anime to come in and now we have every type and genre of Isekai show but this one hits differently.
The show is about an average office-going guy, who dies unfortunately, and gets reincarnated in another world as slime, just like any other isekai shows. But soon this slime name, Rimuru got to know more of this world and the power systems within. Just like our overpowered protagonist, he wants to be number one in this world.
4. Spice and Wolf:
Spice and Wolf is an old comfy show that has been fully rebooted and now it’s back with new animations, music, and lovely characters with wholesome vibes. Yes, I agree the plot is the same as before but don’t ignore or drop it for just that because it has more to it.
The anime is about a wise wolf, Holo. She is a deity of prosperity and people pray to her for fruitful harvesting. One day, Holo escapes the town by hiding in a merchant’s cart. They soon started to travel to different states. A merchant promised to take her to her hometown in the north and she helps him to get him great deals in the process.
3. Wind Breaker:
It’s an absolute masterpiece and trust me, it’s one of the best ongoing anime that you will watch this season. The show is the best example of having a diverse range of characters with vivid personalities and there is something for everyone. Plus if you are a big fan of Tokyo Revengers, this show will be your favorite without a doubt.
The show starts with our super cool action hero, Sakura, who seems to be trapped in his past until he is transferred to a new high school full of gangsters named Boufrin. But this gang doesn’t fight for selfish reasons like others. No, his goals are to protect their town and help people from other bullies. Hence, they are known to be town heroes. There’s a lot to this story. It’s not just normal action but emotions as well. So, don’t miss this one because it will be the best. Trust me!
2. Konosuba (Season 3):
For those of you who haven’t watched Konosuba seasons one and two, what are you waiting for? Just watch it because it’s an absolute must-watch for every otaku in this world. And if you have watched it already go for season 3 because why not? I mean, I was personally waiting for season 3 to come in and hoped many of you had already started watching it!
But for those who haven’t, here’s the gist of the show. The anime starts with Kazuma, our super cool dude, who strongly believes in gender equality, but he dies in the first episode. But don’t worry, he was also granted a wish to get transported into the isekai world to defeat the lord with the help of goddess Aqua. As the show progresses, Kazuma’s friend circle grows, and here comes Darkness and Megumin, our cute waifus in the show. And for the rest go and watch the show!
1. Go Go Loser Rangers:
This is one you can’t sleep on. It has the best plot, characters, villains, opening song, ending theme and a lot more. Every part of this show is a masterpiece! It will change your perspective of watching your favorite Power Rangers. But don’t worry your heroes and Power Rangers are different. So, there’s nowhere to do it.
The show starts with a basic plot like your Rangers fighting villains in a stadium, but there’s a catch to it. The Villains shown in the anime are just puppets in the hands of Rangers. Yes, you read that right!
Villains just put up a show on the command of Rangers and why are they doing it? For that, you have to watch the show! And trust me you will love it!
Bonus Show:
Laid Back Camp Season 3:
I mean we can’t end our list without mentioning this iconic show for sure! If you haven’t watched it? I don’t know what you are doing. It’s comforting, funny and delightful. Again I would say, you can never go wrong by adding several cute girls to the show!
Laid Camp or called Yuru Camp is all about girls going on camping to different places and discovering different things. The plot is really wholesome and if you wish to camp in the future or love to go camping this show can be the best guide for you. It has everything you want to know before going camping especially if you want to camp in Japan but it also works otherwise.
Wrapping Up:
We finally came to the end of our long listicle and don’t worry, this listicle is not ranked and every show mentioned is a must-watch as it says! So, get ready to go on a long journey of anime paradise because it is going to be fun this spring!
