This article will focus on the strong heroines of the show.
Here are 20 of the most powerful My Hero Academia female characters!
20. Inko Midoriya
Inko Midoriya Quirk: Motherly Love
Ok, the first entry on this list may not have a special quirk, but you have to admit, seeing the things that Midoriya has gone through and still allowing him to attend UA is power in itself. We’ve seen those moments where Inko sat back helplessly as Midoriya underwent devastating battles and painful recoveries. Despite all of her doubts and against her motherly intuition, Inko Midoriya let Midoriya continue his journey toward becoming the number one hero, earning her a spot on this list. Even though she doesn’t have an official quirk.

19. Uwabami
Uwabami Quirk: Sepentress
Uwabami is more of a celebrity, but that doesn’t mean she isn’t capable of helping the heroes when her number is called. Did you know that snakes have an amazing sense of smell thanks to a special organ called Jacobson’s organ? Thanks to this, Uwabami is capable of locating villains and stranded civilians with the snakes in her hair. Despite the fact that Uwabami takes her modeling career more seriously than her hero duties, she can still be a vital asset to hero missions thanks to her amazing senses.
18. Toru Hagakure
Toru Hagakure Quirk: Invisibility
Hero Name: Invisible Girl
The power to turn invisible has always come up in discussion when groups of friends have gotten together to contemplate which superhuman ability they would want. Though there isn’t a whole lot she can do with this ability, Toru Hagakure or “Invisible Girl” can be a valuable asset to a well-assembled team. Stealth can be used in many ways, and she may not be super strong or skilled in combat if given the chance she could sneak up on the enemy and set up a well-orchestrated surprise attack or even play the fly on the wall, which could prove to be an essential asset to any crime-fighting team.
17. Mina Ashido
Mina Ashido Quirk: Acid
Hero Name: Pinky
Mina Ashido is a good support character during missions in My Hero Academia. Right now, we’ve seen the extent of her powers as she has the ability to shoot acid from her hands, which can be helpful in various situations, depending on how she uses her powers at that moment.
16. Kyoka Jiro
Kyoka Jiro Quirk: Earphone Jack
Hero Name: Earphone Jack
With a set of earphone jacks for earlobes, Kyoka Jiro, or accurately named “Earphone Jack,” has the ability to use her earlobes to hear the faintest of sounds in a given area. This ability allows her to be an excellent sensory heroine as she can scout locations for valuable information.
Furthermore, Earphone Jack can plug into the speakers in her boots which allows her to amplify her pulsations and pushes out a huge sonic boom. This means that her earphones can be used for both scouting missions and for offense given the circumstances.
15. Mei Hatsume
Mei Hatsume Quirk: Zoom
Mei Hatsume has the ability to zoom in with her eyesight to see over 5 kilometers away. This ability is cool, but it isn’t the reason she made it to number 15 on this list. No, Mei is an excellent inventor. She has the knowledge and the capability to create many gadgets needed for all kinds of different situations. She even created the gloves that Deku uses for his air blast attacks during battle. This is a clear indication of her engineering abilities and garners her a respectable spot on this list.
14. Itsuka Kendo
Itsuka Kendo Quirk: Big Fist
Hero Name: Battle Fist
It may not seem like an amazing superpower, but having a quirk that allows you to more than quadruple the size of your fist in an instant can be a useful tool. Along with the ability to increase the size of her hands, Itsuka Kendo’s physical strength also increases in tandem with the size of her hands, allowing her to crush tungsten steel as a result. Having huge, strong hands can be useful in multiple situations, and we’ve seen Itsuka use them in various ways during battle situations in the show.
At one point Itsuka used her giant hands to blow poisonous gas away during a battle against a villain named Mustard. Plus she has the obvious offensive capabilities with her fists as well. On top of her physical abilities, Itsuka Kendo is also very intelligent, which was demonstrated in the battles between Class 1-A and Class 1-B when Itsuka and Momo went head to head in a battle of strategy.
13. Emi Fukukado
Emi Fukukado Quirk: Outburst
Hero Name: Ms. Joke
Although we haven’t seen her powers in action, we can speculate how powerful they would be given what she is capable of. Outburst is used to incapacitate enemies with uncontrollable laughter, making them easy pickings for a quick hand-to-hand attack, which we could assume that Ms. Joke is somewhat skilled in. Whenever she uses her outburst ability, she emits a blue aura around her.
As we’ve seen during their first encounter on the show, Ms. Joke has a crush on Mr. Aizawa because his quirk allows him to suppress her outburst ability. Coming across someone who can resist her outburst when she has always been able to make anyone laugh at a moment’s notice can be an intriguing situation.
12. Camie Utsushimi
Camie Utsushimi Quirk: Glamour
With her glamour quirk, Camie is able to emit a mist from her mouth that is capable of filling a large room. For those within the mist, Camie can create believable illusions. 8. Momo Yaoyorozu
Momo Yaoyorozu Quirk: Creation
Hero Name: Creati
Momo has an amazing quirk that allows her to create virtually anything from her body as long as she knows the structure of whatever it is she wishes to create. To do this, Momo has developed a substantial amount of knowledge about many items so she can create them. Momo’s quirk makes her a valuable asset, but her intelligence is perhaps the most important aspect of her talent. Momo has proven herself intellectually numerous times on the battlefield as she has managed to come up with decisive plans in times of crisis and she is even able to think multiple moves ahead to come up with the best action given the situation.

Himiko’s quirk may not seem like much at first, but she has recently undergone an awakening during a battle where she was close to death. We now know that Himiko can use the powers of whoever she transforms to as well, making her much more powerful than we thought before.
6. Nemuri Kayama
Nemuri Kayama Quirk: Somnambulist
Hero Name: Midnight
Nemuri has the ability to incapacitate targets with a violet-colored gas that is emitted from her skin. It has been said that her quirk works better on men than women, but if anyone breathes enough of her fumes, they will become incapacitated despite their gender. Her quirk makes her especially useful as a referee during the UA sport’s festival because she could quickly incapacitate students before they inflicted any serious injuries on themselves.
5. Nejire Hado
Nejire Hado Quirk: Wave Motion
Nejire is one of the most powerful students and is considered to have power that could rival and even outmatch those of some pro heroes. With her quirk, Nejire can emit waves of energy from her body, allowing her to levitate, defend and attack using her powerful blasts.
